WOOFER DESIGN REDUCES DISTORTION
Each 5-1/4-inch A-Series woofer uses Deep Channel Design (DCD) magnetic structures to deliver more bass with less amplifier power, resulting in a fuller, cleaner sound. The A-Series woofers feature ceramic and glass-fiber polymer cones that help reduce distortion for increased clarity.
INNOVATIVE CABINET SHAPE IMPROVES STEREO IMAGE
All A Series cabinets use a tuned resonant port design to amplify the sound output of the woofer for better low frequency response and stereo imaging. The A 250 incorporates a fully sealed diagonal internal panel for a cleaner, more accurate midrange and bass.
BINDING POSTS MAKE INSTALLATION EASY
Five-way gold-plated binding posts offer plenty of flexibility, making installation easy. The large contact surface of the binding posts allows for particularly pure signal transfer.

Boston engineers used laser vibrometer scanning and finite element analysis (FEA) to identify unwanted resonances in the speaker with the goal of eliminating them to greatly improve performance. Hardware removal on the cabinet's front baffle and rounded front edges further enhance driver performance for enhanced stereo imaging.
