Single PoE+ IP-to-Analog Addressable Gateway with Integrated Amplifier and Rack Mount Kit
AtlasIED IPX Series IP to Analog Gateways are perfect for connecting your unified communication platform to third-party off-network analog systems, including but not limited to sending notifications to analog aerial paging, triggering or waking by access control systems, fire alarm support, and two-way audio support for video surveillance – just plug and play.
The AtlasIED IP-ZCM1RMK registers as a communication endpoint directly within the InformaCast and SA-Announce advanced notification applications, supporting audio streaming to enhance physical security while also improving daily communications through advanced alerts, bell schedules, and pre-recorded and scheduled announcements, while leveraging WAN/LAN network architecture.
When used within a Cisco environment, these same AtlasIED IP speakers can join Cisco Survivable Remote Site Telephony (SRST) as a supported device within the SRST endpoint architecture. Cisco SRST provides call processing redundancy at remote locations when access to the centralized Cisco Unified Communications Manager is interrupted due to a WAN outage. The ability for LAN communication between any combination of phones and speakers is particularly critical during an emergency (which may be the actual cause of the WAN outage).
When third-party notification applications are not required, the IP-ZCM1RMK IP-to-analog gateways can register as SIP devices directly to a SIP server or VoIP communications manager for critical alerting/public address applications.
The IP-ZCM1RMK model includes a rack mount kit to properly mount the IP-ZCM in a standard width rack.
Characteristics
The AtlasIED IP-ZCM1RMK consists of a factory-assembled PCB control board housed in a rugged and compact 1RU chassis. The unit provides the same addressable endpoint functionality as an IP speakerphone or IP phone with the convenience of line level and amplified audio output. This line-level output is ideal for use with AtlasIED AA, PA, or CP Series amplifiers to power large zones of traditional AtlasIED 25V, 70.7V, or 100V loudspeakers or pager horn speakers.
In addition to the line-level output, the IP-ZCM1RMK provides 1 channel of 15 watts RMS into 8 ohms or 70.7V amplified output for driving a small group of analog speakers. It also includes 2 GPI inputs, 1 GPI output and a microphone input for talk or listen applications.
Features of the IP-ZCM1RMK include auto-provisioning and auto-registration. This is an easy and time-saving way to configure our IP speakers on your voice VLAN, similar to a VoIP phone. By being connected to the same VLAN, both VoIP phones and IP speakers share the same Quality of Service (QoS), so communications are always secure and guaranteed.
